Which smartphones can I get Android 13 on and should I do it?
Anyone who owns an Android smartphone is waiting for a new update. And many are well aware that this will happen right after the Google I/O conference. It is after that that the company will unveil the next innovations. In fact, the beta version has been available for some time, but at the time of its appearance, not all models could be installed. At the moment, however, the situation has improved a lot and there are more models available to install the update.
Android 13 beta 2
Not long ago, the company made an announcement about the official version of Android 13 beta. Google has been working with some of the leading OEMs for a few years now to allow developers to try out the new version. And by the time it comes out, the user will already have access to the full product.
So far, 12 companies have been part of the new Android 13, but the difference here was that TCL was replaced by Lenovo.
Now many companies are offering a beta version for just one device, but some have gone further and expanded the user experience. And now an update is available for 22 devices. The maximum number of products belongs to Pixel, with 8. This is followed by Xiaomi and Oppo.
But it’s worth noting the fact that the models are not very popular, so it’s worth waiting for more smartphones on the list.
Should we install the Beta Android 13?
Many do have their doubts about installing the update, and that’s not surprising, as there are some risks. And the trivial reason why you shouldn’t do it yet is the large number of raw innovations. They are just being worked on, so there are not without glitches. It doesn’t always work correctly, freezes, incompatibilities and so on. All these are really problems which are just starting to be solved.
And if the smartphone user has not previously installed a beta version on his device, it is better not to resort to this. It is better to wait for the official release and get the enhanced and reliable functionality.
